but wearing a superhero costume why not, he was really cute as Green Lantern

Haha, who knows... he's a naughty carrot after all. And yeah, she does love her little Green Lantern. I'm hoping we'll see them in matching costumes this/next year. Halloween or some other kind of dress-up party.

Or, or they can go as Arwen/Aragorn or like David/Darlene if you want to go a bit meta

I tend to prefer when they dress up as different things since I feel it really represents their relationship and dynamic, but I'd be up for Arwen and Aragorn - not sure Penny would, though.

Why Penny would not agree ?
I don't really care of matching costumes, but I think Arwen is a good character for her, strong, beautiful, independent. And Leonard as Aragorn, I'm sure he'd be ok with the idea

Just because Penny's not really into Lord of the Rings or nerdy costumes. It's not that Penny wouldn't appreciate those qualities in Arwen, she just isn't a fan of the franchise as a whole so wouldn't feel as passionately about it as we do.
