They danced.

Penny getting swept up in it, and Leonard turning the teasing on her was great. Then they just had their cute banter like they always do and it was beautiful.

And the handholding. I loved how they clasped hands just momentarily before switching positions, like they just wanted to do that pose before sinking into it. Plus Penny grabbed Leonard's hand to pull around her during the picture. Season of handholding!

And how they were looking at each other, how they wanted to be the only people up there, and how Penny likes to think that she'd have gone up to him at her prom had he been there. I think she genuinely believes that she would have, even though she probably wouldn't have in all honesty. And how they both kinda have their dream now, they're so much in love, and they were just relishing those moments with each other.

Yeah, the teenagers they were back then, probably not, but given who they are now, they're the only two they would have wanted to dance with back at their proms.

And, yes the way they were looking at each other! Just so in love, and so happy to have it be just the two of them.
