Howard and Sheldon is one of my favorite relationships on the show. Any episode where the two of them are at war - Stephen Hawking, the parking spot, the one with Eliza Dushku - is always awesome. Howard is the one who's least tolerant of Sheldon, and that's usually a good thing for Sheldon, and conversely, fights with Sheldon often find Howard behaving with surprising maturity and magnanimity, (if only in contrast) rather than his typical goofy affected sleaze. In short, I think they've got a complicated, ultimately positive and unusually thorny relationship, and will miss each other when they're gone. May they get into really, really dumb fights many more times. |
