Snowflake Snugglers #90  Welcome to the Leonard/Penny Thread! The number one place to discuss Big Bang Theory's very own 'beauty and the geek'. [I like] the fact that while they have obvious differences on the surface deep down they are very similar. They are both sweet, loving and caring individuals who are both looking for the love of their lives. - LostInTime I remember that right away, I loved how Leonard and Penny were so different but both sweet, trying to understand each other's world. We could see that Leonard was trying really hard to "get out" of his bubble, and Penny is not creeped out by those nerds, she's all nice and happy. - fantomette  ⁛The Snugglers⁛ ~ Honorary Snugglers ~ ⁛The Friends⁛1. Nitinha  I’ve heard so many people say that what’s wonderful about loving something is that you just do, and you feel as if you can’t explain it because words don’t do your feelings justice. That’s how I feel about Leonard and Penny. - WeBuiltThePyramids I think LP work well together because they have some different qualities that help the other person grow. For example, Penny’s confidence and connection to Leonard’s “outside world” sort of make Leonard more confident. Also, Leonard’s intelligence and goodness have made Penny a smarter and more rational person. - SargeantFuzzyBoots They’re opposites, but they’re also the same in many ways. I know! And I love how we're paraphrasing a character's quote, you know? Not just an actor.
Oh, and did someone ever grab that quote from the end of part three of the round table? Where the interviewer said that thing about them belonging together, or us all wanting them together or something like that? I don't think we've used it already and I think it should be on our list. (And it may already be and I'm just not seeing it.  )__________________

The title is just so direct!!! And very true!!!!!
Just looked quickly over the past thread and saw this: I want Penny to indirectly be the reason Leonard and Priya break up. I don't want them to hook up or anything - but I want Priya to end it because she knows Leonard still has feelings for Penny. I think that is the only way to force BOTH Leonard and Penny to deal with their feelings for each other and at the same time instead of going back and forth with one of them being ready and the other not. I would like to see that too. Penny being the sole reason for the break up but not in the sense that they kissed or 'had to mend a bed again'  But Priya realises that Leonard won't and simply cannot cut Penny outta is life. Priya is very aware of the fact that the two are still very close and that scares her more so now that she can longer keep an eye out cause she's in India. But putting that to one side....long distance relationships don't tend to work simply for the fact that your in two seperate countires and have no idea when you'll meet face to face again. USA and India are a far stretch from each other and i couldn't be in something like that.__________________

Yeah, that situation would remind me a lot of Ross/Emily, but I was fine with that played out so I'd be fine with it working like that here, too. I mean Penny's hanging out with them as if Priya isn't there - at least as much as can be expected. So eventually she's going to find out. And I think that might be why the end comes for Priya and Leonard.

I'm curious to see how Leonard and Penny act towards each other in upcoming episodes. Will there be any tension or will they be more comfortable around each other. I'm hoping we get to see them be a little playful with each other.

 I like so much the title, I think if Penny would say the true (her feelings) to Leonard this season, Leonard would choose her  !And about the last posts, Priya and Leonard may be will break, but no exactly for Penny, I believe she would be one of the reasons from their rupture. I think she could be the important point, the last reason. As you said, may be it'll be like Ross/Emily in the season five in Friends. __________________
