(Are the promos always open for discussion in the regular threads, or was that only a one-time thing last week because we were clogging up the general episode thread with Shamy-related excitement? Not to be rude or anything (and I guess it's already a little too late), but if there's any way we could try and be respectful towards people who clearly haven't and don't want to watch this week's promo, that would be great. If discussion is allowed regardless, then just ignore me and keep on keeping on, but I don't know. I just feel really bad for those of you who are trying to stay unspoiled. )

I've had fun talking to you, ladies, but now I have to take a break because all the stuff in my apartment is not going to magically move itself, haha. Keep up the awesome discussions, though! I look forward to catching up later!

Technically we are allowed to discuss the promos in this thread but as there are so many people trying to avoid even the promos, I agree with Chloe that perhaps we should not discuss them until after the finale. I don't want them to feel like they have to leave the thread for now in order to avoid getting spoiled.

Last week was the first time I've seen the mods make us move the discussion of the promo to a shipper thread. Nicole, Roxanne? Could you answer that question?

And as for trying to keep the unspoiled few, unspoiled, I agree that maybe we should just talk about stuff that has aired.

I'm trying to decide my top 9 shamy moments from this season, and I can't decide.. and that's even before the finale, assuming we get something. Even the little things, I love so much.

Well, in the LP thread we are doing a top kisses poll during hiatus...I know we have the Shamy book (We still have it right?) but on top of that we should do a top Shamy moments poll.

It would include all moments that we love from TLE to TCR...sound like a good idea?

I just uploaded a new mv. It's a cast video and Shamy is in it as well, it's towards the end. I chose to post here because I like Shamy and so forth. But I think the LP's portion of it is better because it's a lot less messy.

Hey TFTNT! What an enticing title.

I've been AFK all day, and 10 pages to catch up on. I finally managed to get a USB modem (not unlimited free internet, unfortunately) and the first thing was to come back here and dive in.. some of your posts have me crying. Especially Lio and Chloe and Lauren, I think. Lio, that was such a perfect analysis of what some people don't see in Sheldon/Amy, which would be the most beautiful thing ever, if they only had the eyes for seeing.

Sheldon is a 'brains man' all right; and in the moments which touch me most, there is this quiet respect in his eyes, like when he speaks of her self-surgery when she was 14. Don't get me wrong, I do want to see him falling for her in every way possible - my heart explodes when he gazes up intensely and says don't stop - but that whole structure is built on a solid foundation of mental connection and understanding and friendship and mutual admiration, and those things go deeper and last longer than attraction ever does. Theirs is a relationship in which this aspect is present just spontaneously and automatically.. that's the beauty of it.

I loved how he didn't speak of her wonderful long hair cascading down to her smooth bare shoulders. He spoke of her dandruff cascading down to her pale hunched shoulders. It was partly for laughs, I know, to emphasize the oddity of them; but it was so much more, because it showed that even in his fantasies, he pictures her for what she is, flaws and all, and that is what captivates him. Amy does not have to look like Wonder Woman to be Sheldon's Wonder Woman - she already is.


Bunny - aww, I'm sorry you're being internet-deprived nowadays! I relate completely, since I'm in the same state.

Regarding ships - I have to say I'm with Moyra, because this is the only on-screen couple I've ever shipped in my entire life!
