Snowflake Snugglers #110  Welcome to the Leonard/Penny Thread! The number one place to discuss Big Bang Theory's very own 'beauty and the geek'.  [I like] the fact that while they have obvious differences on the surface deep down they are very similar. They are both sweet, loving and caring individuals who are both looking for the love of their lives. - LostInTime  I remember that right away, I loved how Leonard and Penny were so different but both sweet, trying to understand each other's world. We could see that Leonard was trying really hard to "get out" of his bubble, and Penny is not creeped out by those nerds, she's all nice and happy. - fantomette Since they met, they were destined to be together. Seeing a guy who's a nerd and has a crush in his neighboor [his imposible love], who also loves him but he doesn't know that, I just had the option of falling in love with those two. Nitinha  Leonard and Penny have been described as “the heart of the show”, and no matter what else happens, it all comes back to them. Kaley’s said that they can’t survive without each other and I really believe that’s true.[/ - WeBuiltThePyramids  Leonard and Penny have always been such an adorable and funny pairing that it was impossible for me not to love them after the Pilot episode. That ‘geek gets the beautiful girl’ story has always appealed to me, but these two have taken it so much farther beyond that with their relationship. I think what makes me love them the most right now is what Kaley said about how they couldn’t survive without one another. That point has been shown to be so true since their break-up; that they’re exactly what the other one needs. - SargeantFuzzyBoots  They’re opposites, but they’re also the same in many ways. It was such a simple gesture that had so much romance behind it. TFTNT! Nice title.
I`m nervous too about the finale of Season 5. Can´t wait what will happen. In about three weeks we will know. And I hope Leonard moves in with Penny one day. __________________

I'm so terrified right now. Part of me wants to look at Tumblr just to see 'reactions' but then I'm afraid of coming across spoilers and them making me upset and wanting to read everything just so I know. So I'm not. But I woke up an hour before my alarm and I am sitting here literally shaking. And a little bit of this is from finale and some is Shamy and Howard and Bernadette nerves but I'd be lying if I said most of it wasn't paranoia over L/P.

I wish I didn't automatically start obsessing over what might happen to them in the finale, because then I go crazy thinking of all the good and bad big things that could happen, which, yeah, makes it way harder not to look for stuff. However, I'm confident it's not a break up because I don't think that'd be described as something 'big' for them considering they've already done that once, and hopefully it won't be something that'll ultimately create a break up next season, but yeah. I'll stop rambling and try to keep calm here.

That's very true. But I'm still a natural pessimist so I can be either right or pleasantly surprised! But then I do still have those faint hopes, like when I held on to the possibility of getting something, anything, in the 100th.
I think Leonard and Penny need to do this to me more often. I hate all the nerves and anxiety but I'm blasting Cascada music in my headphones and have done like fifty pushups this morning already. But yeah, I'm not allowing myself to be totally optimistic but I do have hope, and I think the fact that I'm not feeling totally pessimistic wants to make me more pessimistic. __________________
