I too am missing Shamy and am eagerly awaiting new episodes with them

I am certain that things will be ok and that they'll continue to be happy - at least for a while. I doubt the writers would make them undergo more angst in a season where they've spent much time in that state.

Since they've just wrapped up a big storyline for them, I feel that they'll spend several episodes being happy and stable in the background while the writers focus on other stuff

I don't actually feel I'm missing them. I'm happy knowing they're happy and back together. Not long ago, I was genuinely scared we'd go through the Xmas hiatus with them still apart. I'm not done rewatching these last two episodes, and I'm relieved to have a break from all the promo stuff!
