Personally, it's my #1 favorite Sheldon quote regarding Amy. It's the sort of thing I'd find romantic in ANY ship, let alone coming from someone as awkward and emotionally repressed as Sheldon Cooper.

VERY true. It's even more huge from Sheldon. Question for you all-do you feel Sheldon would act this way around any female now, at least every female he doesn't hate, or are these changes in him only applicable to Amy? Personally, I feel these changes are not him changing in general, but him changing because of Amy, who she is, and due to the way he values her. But I know that opinion is not unanimous-what do you guys think?

I was looking back to see the number of pages; and after happening to look for a few moments at the gif in the OP in which Sheldon hesitantly holds and comforts her with his hands, inexplicably found tears in my eyes. It's supposed to be a funny scene, I tried to tell myself. But oh, it was such a rare and beautiful thing for Sheldon to even care to try. And Jim's expression is perfect.

Regarding changes in Sheldon.. I really feel that most of what we've seen so far - a little more openness, a little more humanness - has been specially towards Amy, because of his soft corner for her. We don't see him behaving any differently with his other friends or Penny, though sometimes Amy acts as a catalyst for it, like encouraging him to interact with the bird or reminding him about the hot beverage when Penny was upset.

I know! The acceptance he feels towards her is understated but somehow so natural and obvious.

Krys - Rove is a little behind on the 411. One of my favorite scenes, though, so I'm not complaining.
