Season 4 General Discussion
 Reminder: No spoiler discussion is allowed! Please keep all spoilers contained in the spoiler thread (at the Spoiler Board). Casting and guest star announcements are allowed to be discussed here. _____*****_______ With the S4 premiere being taped this week, I thought it was a good time to open a general discussion thread for the upcoming season.  Let's kick it off with a wishlist. What are you hoping to see in season 4?By the way, we don't have a general discussion thread for season 3 so if several of you would like one, I'd be happy to open a thread for it. Otherwise, we'll just stick with the individual episode threads. Season 4 Predictions Premiere: Setting of the first scene? First speaker? First word? Color of the first scene transition? Setting of the last scene? Last speaker? Last word? General: Number of episodes aired before winter hiatus? Extra episodes ordered? How many total episodes this season? How many comic book characters will be referenced? Which comic book series will be referenced the most? Characters: How many times will Sheldon say 'Bazinga'? How many times will Sheldon do his special knock? How many variations (for different people/combination of people) of Sheldon's special knock will be used? Will Leonard get a new girlfriend? How many times will we see Leonard's bedroom? How many of Leonard's university projects will be referenced? Will we meet a member of Penny's family? Will we see Penny's POV for a story line? Will we see Penny confide in someone other than Sheldon or Leonard? How many women will Howard hit on? How many women will Howard suceed with? How many different belt buckles will Howard wear? Will Raj speak to a woman without being drunk? Will Raj get a girlfriend? Will Raj wear any costumes this year? Relationships: Which pairing will have the most storylines? Which combinations of characters will have storylines? Sheldon-LeonardWhich of the main cast will have the most scenes with guest stars and recurring characters? __________________

Wishlist? Okay! Some of these are more plausable than others...
1. Penny become better friends with Raj and Howard. 2. Howard, Raj, and Sheldon take it upon themselves to get Penny and Leonard back together. 3. More Bernadette! 4. Sheldon NOT in a relationship. 5. Mrs. Cooper singing soft kitty-I love Penny as surrogate mama, but that was origionally Sheldon's biological mom's song for him and I would looove to see her sing it to him. There's probably more I can't think of because I am tired. __________________

My main wish for Season 4 is that L/P will become best friends again and truly learn more about each other personally and emotionally. Hopefully this will lead them to both realize that they are truly meant for each other. I would also like an episode where we get to meet Penny's family, specifically her Father. From what we know of her relationship with him it seems to be similar to Leonard's relationship with his mother in the sense that they are very distant towards each other.

1. I want to see Leonard and Sheldon get even with Wil Wheaton.
2. An episode where the guys are involved with Penny in a play. 3. A date with Sheldon and Amy and Leonard and Penny (where L/P aren't together) going with them for moral support. Think of the possibilities. |

Love all of those Carl! And OMG Nicole, if Missy returned for an ep, I would FLIP.
Also Carl reminded me of another wish: Whatever story arc is coming with Amy, I hope it feel in-character and realistic. I'm too worried about this, but still it's something on my wishlist. __________________

I'm kind of excited for the Amy and Sheldon ~relationship arc.
I hope Leonard and Penny become really good friends. They're good like that. I hope both Mrs. Cooper and Missy come back. It would awesome and hilarious if they were in the same episode. I wish for BERNADETTE __________________

on my wishlist:
I want Neil Gaiman to be a special guest. And Lorre agrees with me. And Neil adores the show, so why not!? I want Leonard and Penny to become friends. But not overnight. In real life it is not easy like that. I want it to feel real. If Laurie Metcalfe comes back I would be very very happy. If she meets Leornard's mom, I would die! Would love that! I completely agree that it would be nice to have Penny's POV. There's been a serious lack there. All we ever do is guess guess guess...I'm getting tired of guessing what is going through this girl's mind! Sheldon+Amy: I'm okay if he stays in character and it doesn,t feel odd. __________________

My other big wish is that Roxanne is able to go watch the live tapings of every episode for season 4 because I enjoy reading her taping reports. Seeing the cast of TBBT at Comic-Con was great but watching a live taping has got to be Awesome!!
