Hey guys!

So as you all know, requires boards to average at least 15 posts a day (and not go 48 hours with no posts). Last month, we averaged 25.35 posts per day, which is obviously over the minimum, but that's pretty low for us. My other board has just four regular posters and we had ~28/day average, and this is the first time with the exception of that board's opening month that it's had more than this one (usually it has less than half this one). So since we are going to be going into a summer hiatus soon, I just wanted to post a reminder about minimums as well as some tips to up the counts.

• Game threads. The alphabet ones are easy and quick to play.
• OT thread - say hi and tell us how your day is going!
• TPAM and TPBM - helps you get to know your fellow posters, too!
• Give your own thoughts on character/ship threads, but also reply to what others have said, it makes it easy for the conversation to keep going!
• If you feel someone else has said what you want to say, replying with "agreed" still counts as a post!

One thing we do want to make sure of, though, is not just commenting in every thread with or , because wants active boards that are full of discussion, and spamming threads like that for post counts, personal or board related, isn't encouraged. But game threads, as mentioned above, are a great way to get a legitimate post in with just a word or a short sentence!

Let's keep this board healthy and active, after all, we do have two more years of show!

Playing game threads is one thing but we also need people who post here. Of course a few poster could spend a whole summer here with playing games but the probably would be exhausted before the new seasons starts. So we need more people here, either "old" user or enthustiastic new ones.

All we need to make the minimum is five people posting three times each - we have more than five regular posters, we just need more discussion. The game threads are great supplements though, especially when we aren't getting new episodes. We don't want to rely on them to keep the board open long term, but they definitely help slower boards during hiatus.

How about opening new threads for the 6 missing season 2 episodes since tbs is restarting season 1, and it won't be long till they reach season 2? Would that help?
