I hope that since it's officially the last season, the writers are going to focus on the gang itself and drop the idea of bringing more YS characters on the show

I agree. I like Young Sheldon but I don't need to see Tam or Jimmy Sparks.

I agree, those are some of my favorites. Especially the scavenger one.

So I was watching the wedding last night with my niece Olivia, to get ready for the new season and we were talking about the series finale, and I can see it now. I would have a flash forward to like ten years from now, Sheldon and Amy are living in a disheveled house, not dirty but a bit disorganized, they have like four kids, who like them are all working on white boards, conducting experiments and it's a bit chaotic, but they are happy. I know it probably won't happen but I can see it. Can you?

I've thought about the idea of a flash forward in the finale before... Since they said they're planning to bring it to a creative end, I'm thinking there's at least a small chance.

So far, this season is a quite lackluster affair for me. Some nice and cute moments here and there, some laughs, but overall quite "meh".

I hope for a change in the writing from now or maybe one more episode for the real "last season writing" to start.
