Even if he was there it'd work-he was right next to her when Shelly hugged her and she still told him about it.

totally agree that is how I envisioned it when I wrote it and Amber was saying if leonard wasn't there she could call him on the phone, and you know that would be sooooo funny and a very very LP thing to write
can't you just see it?

Maybe we should vote about what we'd like to hear as the first thing Raj says to Penny without alcohol or drugs...:think:

That would be funny! And very Raj seeing as he's always quick to point out when Leonard or the other guys are acting stupid.

Or maybe Raj would be super-excited about something and tells Penny without thinking.

Last time he was super-excited, he squeaked and clammed up when he saw Penny there. :/ But maybe if he was super-excited and Penny is the only one there, Raj would give in and tell her. Of course, that would eliminate the opportunity for him to talk to her without realizing it.

Or what if Penny gets something about comic books or sci-fi (or science) wrong and Raj automatically corrects her?

Also does anyone know the song Mannequin by Katy Perry? Because it TOTALLY sounds like Penny and Raj.

IMO, they're the only couple that could work besides Leonard/Penny.

And hey, if That '70s Show could end with Fez/Jackie, TBBT can end with Raj/Penny

Haha, well most of us just want him to be able to talk to her so we can see that friendship explored. P/L and H/B are the only BBT couples for me! But I think P/R could be my favorite friendship if he got over his shy-ness.

fetch, I don't remember you're name *fail*, but I totally agree! Leonard would have some serious competition right now if Raj had been able to speak to Penny from the start.

I don't know about that. She never showed any interest in Raj from the begining the way she did with Leonard.

I agree that Penny needs to become the exception to the rule here. This is a big reason why the Raj character and Kunal by extention is so underused on the show.
