When you see her walking at the ACAs, she didn't seem bad at all. (And I loved how she was so embarassed to have to be corny.) :rotfl:

Kaley was at the Style Awards (and I'm not really sure what those are) over the weekend. She looked pretty good, the dress isn't my favorite, but still much better then some of the stuff she has been choosing recently. And her hair and makeup is looking a lot better recently too. She is really one of those girls that is so naturally pretty, she doesn't need all that makeup.

Yea, I know what you mean. There are some recent events where she looked a little rough. I would bet more than anything she probably just likes to take a fashion risk every now and then, but some of them haven't worked out so great. I think she looks best when she keeps it simple - like that adorable navy blue dress she wore to the TCA panel this past summer or even the gold dress she wore to the Emmy's - it was simple but looked amazing on her.

yes I saw the photos. She looked great. Like you said, she looks great when she is not trying too much.

Sometimes, like when she tries to go all fancy and puts on all that makeup...hate to say it but I don't think she looks all that great. But she's pretty when she's simple-which is a great thing, actually, since it means she's naturally good looking.

I read one of either Kaley's or Chris's tweets where they said 100% of the profits goes to the Humane Society. The statement about 100% profits is kind of a deceiving and a loaded remark. How much of the 99 cents will be profit? Who gets the non profit or cost part of each sale and how is that percentage going to be determined. I figure Chris French will get a portion of the 99 cents of each sale because he recorded and edited the song. The reason I bring this up is that some people will believe that all of the money will go to the Humane Society which is not true. The Humane Society will not get all 99 cents of each sale. The Humane Society will only get what is left over after Apple and those who produced the song(Chris French) take their cut.

Some people will think I'm being too judgemental about a good cause and I understand that. I just want to know how much money will go to a charity for a purchase that I make on their behalf. If a vast majority of the 99 cents goes to The Humane Society then great I would purchase the song. However, if only a small portion is going to The Humane Society then to hell with the song. I would just give money directly to The Humane Society.

I'm not in the business of helping Apple or Chris French make money for a purchase from them on behalf of a charity.

If the people you mentioned get some of it, but not profit off of it, then technically they're not making money, are they? Like if a profit was, say, eleven cents, and I took ten, then I wouldn't be making one. I'd be breaking even. But we never know-it may be that no one is taking any money; I have a feeling Kaley would make very sure that a large percentage went to the animals.

I believe Chris donated his time equipment etc. So he waves any amt that would go to a regular producer. Which means the only part of that money not going to the humane society is whatever apple takes.
