I'm glad that they aren't trying to force this Nobel storyline into one episode because of how long the process is, but I am extremely bored by it at this point.

Same. I'm fine with bringing back people we know, so long as it fits the story, but I don't want them to keep writing storylines around new guest stars.

They can make up an entire storyline to get Althea back and I won't complain. :lol:

So, in her series of interviews yesterday, Kaley said that they're going to pre-tape the entire final episode, to be sure they have it without tears.
At first I thought that they weren't going to play it live and just show the tape to the audience, but I think they just want to be sure to have a clean copy and they're going to do as usual in front of the audience. Maybe with a little more pre-taped scenes than usual (which is annoying, I went to a taping of "Mom" with a lot of pre-taped scenes, it's boring.)

I'm not sure I like this pre-taping thing. I need the last episode to be emotional with some tears, I don't want it clinical, It worked very well with Friends, they writers did a very good job to write the tears into the scenes.

It's not like they won't be emotional when they do it, and I don't think any of them have ever appeared clinical in an episode. But if on tape night they keep breaking down and actively crying, they're not going to get the episode done - and they can't have actors looking like they're crying in scenes that aren't supposed to be emotional.
