It could be Missy, but she's married and already has a baby, so it doesn't seem like that big of a surprise - more like just nice information to be given.

If it were Mary or Amy's mom that would certainly be surprising.

Unless I'm forgetting any other female guest stars for this episode, I think I've covered all the possibilities. Regardless of who it is, I'm sure whenever Bernadette finds out she'll be like, "SUCKA!"

That's true, hadn't thought of it that way - but then I'm still not sure who the mother would be. Unless she doesn't actually appear on-screen in this episode, you'd think it has to be one of the guest stars.

Oh God, I hope not. If it were to be Emily, I'd find that kind of unsatisfying (not only because of my Lucy bias ) but it would have had to have occurred sometime this season since it's been years since they broke up, which means we missed that reunion between them on-screen. That and I'd just rather see Raj have more career-focused storylines since his relationship ones have become rather stale.

And if it were any of the other guys, that would be devastating.

I'm voting Kripke.
I could be really fun, without messing with the cast storylines. Even if John Ross Bowie can't come often next season, they can write fun episodes at work about Kripke gone without telling anybody in the middle of an experiment, or a speech... And the guys have to do his work, whatever he was doing
