Yeah it was the same day, so either the finale time jumped to September or the premiere still took place in May.

Yes, that's where I was leaning since there didn't seem to be an apparent time jump at the start of the season.

And it makes more sense with the season 9 timeline.
summer 2015 didn't exist in BBT world
