The first few episodes are probably gonna be more dramatic due to how the s8 finale ended things but I'm hopeful that things might get progressively lighter.

I don't have a problem with drama, as long as it's not taken out of thin air, like the season eight finale with both Shamy and LP.

I'm happy that LP is getting married in the premiere, but it also makes me think if they've planned something nasty for the season nine finale already. Like Leonard cheating again, or the sudden revelation that Penny has also cheated on him in the past or something like that. I'm not hoping for it, but considering the season eight finale, I think this is the storyline they would be going for.
