Well, he did say, in reply to someone's comment (!!!), that it reminded him of his dad.

Which is just too sweet.

The only time I watch golf is on the Sunday of the Masters, that's it.

Our neighborhood (Cheval) used to host the Outback Pro-Am so our house would be on TV a lot. (I actually have a copy of Caddyshack signed by Bill Murray cause he plays on our course) we've also had George Lopez come pay our neighborhood a visit.

It's really sweet how golf reminds him of his dad

Golf reminds me of my Pop Pop who used to play all the time

Had a strange dream and woke up that JP was my teacher. It wasn't the most pleasant dream for some weird reason. Nothing about it was bad but I wasn't comfortable.

Bah. Golf. I don't get the appeal at all and I'm from the home of golf, lol. Can't go 5 miles here without there being at least three courses thrown in there somewhere.

I also swear something seems to happen to men when they turn 40 that they turn to golf for some reason.

It is sweet it reminds Jim of his dad, though.

This latest news really bothers me because its putting JP right into the limelight with money demands. I just dont see him being that way.

Both the quote and the term 'man capris' has me cracking up.

There was another guy wearing short pants, only his were even more obvious because he was a big black football player, I believe, that was part of some kind of team award, and his "man capris" suit was ivory. His bare legs were very apparent!

I pray to all that is holy that Jim never even considers wearing such things in real life.

Part of me would perversely like to see him wearing them for some acting role...

Thanks for mentioning that. Found the comments - very touching.
I have to say, I've never been able to see the appeal of watching golf myself.

This is going back a few days, but was anyone else really amused by Jim's post with the oatmeal? It reminded me of an interview from a few years back, where he was explaining why he gave up Twitter - he was tweeting unimportant things, like "had oatmeal today." The interviewer told him some people would be interested in that, and he said something like "then they're not invited to know about the oatmeal." Apparently now we are invited to know!

I wouldn't say it bothers me, but I know what you mean. I suppose it's the game they have to play, not just the actors but their agents, managers or whatever, as well. I just feel like it's not any of my business and I'd rather not hear about it.

It's great how much he's embraced Instagram. He doesn't have to tweet mundane stuff about his sandwiches or oatmeal, just be creative with a photo every day. Far more entertaining.

Though I thought today's was like one of those proof of life pics. Which one of the Parsonswives has finally kidnapped him?!
