Oh my god! Loved most of this episode. Billy Bob Thorton was absolutely hilarious. I can't help but laugh at his Mississippi line.

Great episode!
I have a question: When they were teasing Leonard at the doctor's room, Sheldon had this face... you know, that "serious" face he gets from time to time, where he stops being an ass for a minute. Who else thought he would apologize or say something nice to Leonard? That moment felt like a punch in the face __________________

I don't care how silly this is, I am so excited to be actually watching this episode on television for the first time, instead of a dodgy live stream. And since I already saw the episode at the taping on Tuesday, I'll just say I loved it! Really funny. I'm very glad all of you seem to love it too! I shall sit back and enjoy now!
Just want to add Billy Bob Thornton was epic! Edit: Still laughing at Sheldon's "I can see you're a little turned on" line in the promo! Anyway, highlights of 7.07: *Billy Bob Thornton - amazing, perfect!!! *Sheldon nearly speaking after Dr. Lorvus (or however you spell it) knocks on Penny's door *Cut to Sheldon, Howard and Raj in the doorway watching Penny, Leonard and the doc *Amy and Bernadette *Amy and Dr. Lorvus Quote:

Guess I'm in the minority this week... It was kind of an eh episode for me. There were a couple of lines I laughed at, but none of them were Billy Bob Thornton's. And I guess he's the big surprise that Bill was saying he couldn't talk about? But there was a picture released of him with the cast after the taping (with their John Ritter shirts), so that was already out of the bag.
I did like the dialogue they opened up between Bernadette and Amy about how women scientists portray themselves, but then it felt like that was just dropped. Literally right before Bernadette showed up at the apartment building, I was wondering where she was and what happened to that half of the episode, and then it was just pushed aside. __________________

I really enjoyed the episode and I liked BBT's understated weirdness--nerdy and pathetic, like a grown up version of Leonard and Howard combined.
And I do think the Bernie/Amy story was resolved, really. They presented both sides of the issue and though Bernie reacted badly to Amy's confession about the email, she did acknowledge that her comment was wrong. I think that Amy's point was valid and Bernie's reaction was because I think maybe she felt judged or robbed of what she thought was, at least at first, a sort of flattering opportunity. But the fact that Bernie came to apologize did resolve it, IMO. It just wasn't a big heart-to-heart sit down over it. Amy seemed okay with it by the time Bernie came by. Anyway, I really had fun watching this one! __________________

I enjoyed the episode.
Loved the girls hanging out in Pennys apartment. I didn`t know the gueststar Billy Bob Thornton at all (sorry but I really don`t know him) but he was amusing in his role as Dr Lorvis I loved it when he counted the Mississippis And the scene where the guys saw his basement was cool! Love that what he all has there. And it was fun watching the guys playing Donkey Kong The thing with Penny that she took off her engagement ring kinda reminded me of that story from Gabby and Carlos Solis from Desperate Housewives where Gabby tooked her ring off (she was married but ring is ring) to sell more and Carlos got very upset about it. Thank god Leonard didn`t freak out that much. Leonards " You owe me one" was perfect Loved Pennys reaction when she saw the Dr and Amy __________________

(I still haven't seen the episodes 2-6 )
For this episode, first of all.. BILLY BOB THORNTON YESSS!!! He makes everything better. Ah he was just soooo hilarious. When I think about it, Billy Bob Thornton's character reminded a lot of his character in Fargo. Creepiness is my jam. __________________

I didn't like the episode. It felt all over the place, the guy was creepy, they started what I felt was a really important storyline with B/A and then nothing came of it.
And honestly, the guest star, who I wouldn't have known either, creeped me out so much I feel like I need to shower to get the episode off me. __________________

I liked the episode a lot, it was funny, nerdy and creepy at the same time. I think Howard can be glad he found Bernadette, because he probably would have ended like Dr. Lorvis
The guys socialising with Dr. Lorvis reminded me a bit of them socialising with Zack I liked the discussion the girls had but you are right, it ended a bit like a cliffhanger. Quote:

Great episode, watch Fargo if you really want to see Billy Bob be creepy. Billy is one of the greatest actors out now, TBBT should be thrilled they got him

Funfact: All the props on the set were from the real movies! There was a guy at the taping who worked on them and said they were all legit!

I still enjoyed the episode while watching, but it kind of feels like they missed an opportunity or something when I think about it. |

I wonder if Thornton didn't want his appearance to be promoted ahead of time, for some reason? He wasn't in the press release either. __________________
