Good episode to kick off the season! I don't think it'll make my list of favorites, but the episode as a whole was basically just transitioning into the new season and setting things up for this year, and it did a good job at that.

I laughed the hardest at Sheldon's "Or had a single piece of fruit." I think cause it was so far from anything I might have been expecting haha.

I loved a lot of the dialogue from this episode but if I had to pick a favorite, it would be every line in the car scene (not biased at all )

I only really enjoyed the car scene this episode TBH. A lot of the episode felt awkward or forced or something to me. I felt like the second episode this week was so much better. It flowed so much better.

I agree, 8.02 felt better.

I liked Sheldon's reaction to Penny's new hair and I think it's cute. Much better on the show than how Kaley had it on Kimmel the other night. Glad they didn't have her wear a wig to hide it.

I never under stood why CBS would show 2 new eps back to back like this when they had nothing in common, would have been much better to have a 2 part ep or a 1 hour special, JMHO

loved this episode and all the stories. Sheldon starting it out in the train station basically crazy to others was hilarious. I felt so bad for him. When he admitted he was embarassed that he failed showed growth.

At first, I didn't like Penny's hair, but it grew on me. I think it fits her character and new job perfectly. A more mature Penny.

My personal highlights of the episode:

- Sheldon with only one sock and without pants
- when Sheldon tried to call someone and everyone he asked said no or ran away
- Sheldon hugged Leonard -> so sweet! Loved it!
- Stuart and Debbie (I loved the voicemail thing )
- when Howard ccidentally calls Bernadette his mom and has to quickly change it to “My wife”

I think it was okay... didn't like the Sheldon plot that much because it kinda felt exaggerated. Stuart and Debbie totally killed this episode.. They were hilarious!

I like Penny's new hair, it's stylish and fun like her. Her hair was getting really long, she probably just wanted a change.

I wasn't able to see all of last night's episodes. But I wasn't happy that Howard was unhappy about Stewart and his mom getting along so well. They were both lonely people who were kinda isolated. Why not let them have some happiness in their lives. I think they are good for each other, Stewart has become this miserable sod who can't catch a break on the show. And Howard's mom has been this big joke in the show. They both looked and sounded so happy.

I loved this episode. I think it was a nice, funny way to start the season.

I love Penny's hair--very cute and kicky and can be styled to be more mature or to be really fun.
If my hair was straighter, I would totally have it cut like hers. I have to keep mine shorter on the top and I go shorter on the sides, too, but I totally love her cut!

And, of course, starting the season out with Sheldon/Jim in underpants is just icing on (his cute little patootie) the cake.

I loved the expressions on Sheldon's face in the car, when Amy was explaining that she wouldn't think less of him, etc., the way he was truly embarrassed and not just acting arrogant toward her.

And the stuff with Stuart and Howard was great. Crazy, but great.

I also like that Penny is starting out this new job. I really do hope, though, that they don't abandon her acting career completely.

I didn't laugh much but I think this episode is a basic starter ep; just ok. I haven't yet seen 02, looking forward for that, I hope it's a bit better than this one.
But one thing I absolutely love is seeing Kaley's haircut on Penny.
