I keep my fingers crossed

Speaking of horses, I was thinking you probably could handle Sheldon as well as Penny because you also grew up around horses?

Just watched the Kunal clip and I totally get where he's coming from because all I did for most of my pre-college school time was talk about Star Wars. I almost got suspended for lightsaber fighting in the hallway at middle school.

Thanks! So cool that Kunal is a big Star Wars geek. Seems appropriate that at least one of the guys should be. And I loved what he said about talking about Star Wars in college. Actually, I love that the movie franchise is still so popular, considering it came out when I was in college and that was before Kunal was even born.

The way he talks about seeing the light saber in the clip, and having a Death Star cake - that's pretty much how I would feel in the same situation.

It was the summer between my junior and senior year in high school when the first SW film came out (yes, I'm that old...) and I remember my friend Julia telling my friends and me about it. We were all in the theater department, painting stuff on the walls in our theater building.
She was the only one of us who had seen it at that point because she used to do a lot of that stuff with her older brother and his friends (one of whom she eventually married...) who were into scifi, LOTR, D&D and all that stuff.

I remember seeing the commercials on TV for it, too.

Way cool. Loved the first 3 movies, not the second trilogy, really. I'm wondering what the next set of films is going to be like.

I couldn't believe that they all these well-known actors for the 2nd trilogy (Liam Neeson, Ewen MacGregor, etc.) and the dialog always seemed so flat and wooden. And don't get me started on Jar-Jar. Or Anakin.

I'm hoping that the presence of the original stars will help this next installment have more of the feel of the original, but who knows at this point!

I have fondness for the prequels because I got to see them in theaters. But that's really it. Only that I got to be "a part" of it in that sense. And I actually like Jar Jar, BUT before y'all judge me, I was six when The Phantom Menace came out so that skewed my perspective of a lot of characters. (Do not get me started on Anakin and Padme though, even when I was nine I was bored and annoyed by that. )

I don't have really high hopes for episode VII, but the fact that my generation (I'm 21) will get to see a new Star Wars movie - in theaters - with Mark, Carrie, and Harrison - well, I have chills just thinking about it.

You are doing it right! To be honest, I'm not sure yet. Maybe I'll go to bed, maybe not.
