I'm not too excited about the Sheldon plot. I love Star Wars, but this guy is just a voice actor. Didn't even know him before. I hope the actual episode is funnier than the promo.

James Earl Jones is perfect. And it's quite insulting to say "just" a voice actor as far as I'm concerned. You still have to be quite good, and expressive, to be able to get everything across with just your voice. Animation or stand in actors can do very little to better a work if the voice isn't good. And he's not solely a voice actor. He was on broadway, the man's got Tony Awards. He's the only actor to win two Emmys in the same year (1991). He's about the farthest thing from "just" a voice actor as you can get.

Plus not only was this man Darth Vader, he was Mufasa! Absolutely legendary.

So excited for this episode! And, actually, while he's there for the Darth Vader connection, every time JEJ says "Me!" in the promo, I keep going, "Mufasa, Mufasa, Mufasa!" But, yeah, voice acting, if you watch behind the scenes footage of people recording, is really quite the same as acting, and most animators will base their drawings on the expressions the actors are making or the movements they include while in character. Plus, just in terms of voice acting, James Earl Jones has probably recorded the most iconic voice.

Yeah, he's one of the most iconic voices in history, and he's done so much other things other than "just" voice acting. The man is basically an entertainment god.

If we don't get to do anything other than listen to his voice for the entire episode I'll be happy. I just keep thinking of Raj: "Tell her I have a deep, sexy voice like James Earl Jones."
