loved the episode!! loved howard's mom talking to raj's parents over the internet and phone....and sheldon telling leonard and the guys that they were his first choice!!

I was a bit disappointed tbh.

Sheldon pranks were funny, especially Jim's delivery of bazoonga (or whatever the word was ). I hope they won't overuse that at some point.

Penny will only miss Leonard...great move writers...

As for the whole LP thing. Penny wasn't thinking about him or show interest in him for months and suddenly it's all back. And also: LP for a cliffhanger. Again? Seriously? And Leonard didn't consider Penny before, only after he saw her upset. He didn't mind going to the North Pole, he didn't hesitate.

I don't know the episode didn't do it for me.

I loved some of the scenes and was happy to get some real humor, at least on Sheldon's part back into the episode again.

Though, I'm right with you there, Paula. I'm not trying to bash Leonard or Penny as characters, but as a couple...I just can't seem to figure out why we keep getting them forced on us again. They did this to us in S1, putting Leonard/Penny out there and it just didn't work. But at least suring S1 we actually saw Leonard's infatuation with Penny and his little crush on her. But we haven't had anything on the two of them romantically since the first episode, and of course when they were drunk with tequila...so why all of a sudden throw them at us again?

LP are written so damn sloppy. I'm kinda sick of it. And as a result, I'm starting grow tired/unamused by Leonard. The ending was Whatever! You know she'll have a new boyfriend come fall when he returns. So contrived. Thought BBT was better than that. Guess not.

Sheldon, Rahj, and the parents saved the episode for me. Bazinga!!!

I did not know it was the last episode of the season . It was a great episode, way better than those we had the past 2 weeks. PL scenes are always the best they cracked me up once more. The blanket Penny gave to Howard was such a cute present. Great interaction of Howard's mom and Raj's parents, I would love to see more scenes like that one.

No, you definitely aren't. It got a bit too serious for my taste...first there is no hint of Penny still having feelings for him - well tbh imo she never had feelings for him, just was attracted to the cute kind of guy - and suddenly she is all heartbroken because he is leaving? Very random and contrived.

And the writers totally screwed up the Penny/the rest of the gang interaction/relationship. So she wouldn't miss any of the guy? Hard to believe...I guess the writers are too involved in the LP story to see that they messed that one up.
