Sheldon is thrilled to help Bernadette and Wolowitz navigate bureaucratic paperwork, until he discovers they are breaking the law. Also, Leonard is disappointed when his friends exclude him from a scientific project.

BERT! Honestly he never lets me down. Stuart's remark does make me think though, one intelligent couple skirting the law + one radioactive meteor = A pair of super villains in comic book land. Keep Howie and Bernie away from that thing!

I'm proud of Sheldon, putting his friendships above his devotion to the rules.
Now all this business of building codes and permits reminds me of the time my fam tore down the old barn and put up a new shed. Leonard's jealousy felt familiar too. Man I did not go into this episode expecting to relate so personally.

I didn't love this one, but I didn't really have complaints about it, either. It was solid. I sympathized with everyone in that form office.

Leonard being sick through the episode just to lead up to the weird dream felt a little off to me... I think he could've just had the weird dream without needing the excuse of it being fever-induced, and it would've been perfectly fine.

As a whole though, it was a solid episode! I think it was one of Stuart's lines that got the biggest laugh from me, but now I can't remember what it was.

Agree - the entire episode I was like "wait why is he sick where is this going?"

Exactly. I was trying to figure out what the point could be, and then it was just the dream, and that felt like a let down.

I finally saw the episode, and it was a good one! Felt like some of the old seasons with the science stuff and shenanigans with lasers.

Interesting that Sheldon has evolved philosophically, so he can subscribe to rules without rigidly sticking to the legal, written regulations.

Didn´t laugh much about that episode but when Leonard told Bert that he dreamed he ate him and Raj and then he (Leonard) said he ate Bert first I just lost it
