Gotta confess here, it's a little bit sad and confusing that Sheldon and Amy don't know or won't admit in their hearts who their honored guests are. For all the details they disagreed on, I thought this one was a given. But if they must put their friends to the test, I suppose it should only confirm their feelings. I certainly won't complain to have an episode be my warm sunshine in the middle of a frigid nor'easter.

Yeah, it's kind of sad that Sheldon and Amy use a test to find their best man and matron of honor. It should be a no-brainer that only Leonard and Penny are in line for this.

Finally, the hiatus is over
 The saddest is that it isn't the first time they do that. It's not very surprising for Sheldon, more for Amy regarding her wedding. But anyway, I'm ready for a fun episode  __________________

Great episode! All is right with TBBT universe!
 Penny realizing that Amy really is her best friend and demanding to be made maid of honour was the best.  And the fear of how Bernadette will react (also loved how impressed she was by Amy and Sheldon's duplicity). Everyone had awesome moments; really strong group episode. Also love the fact that Leonard is writing a book - I'm interested to see if that'll come up in the future. __________________

This episode is tied with the Bitcoin entanglement for best episode of the season IMO.
The moment Leonard gave the speech about what best man should be for him (not to mention him finishing the brain teaser), you could see the gleam in Sheldon's eye, that he made his choice (emotionally & pragmatically). Also as soon as Amy screamed "BESTIE!" in response to Penny declaring she should choose her best friend (her) as maid of honor. Amy had made up her mind. The premise of this episode is the kind of thing this show made it's name on, mixing science with approach to everyday life. And this one didn't squander it's potential thankfully. The 2nd half of this season kicks off on a high note. |
