Nice episode! All the storylines were really good, and it felt longer with how they were able to balance them. Loved Penny being all maternal with Halley, but still keeping her signature sass. And Bob Newhart was brilliant as always. I hope we'll get a follow-up episode with Wheaton as Proton. I thought Wil would bring up the fact that Star Trek: The Next Generation was a reboot that made Sheldon's childhood better.

I just love how Penny babysits in her own Penny way. It would be so like her to hang Halley's first word over Bernie. And so like Bernadette to argue she could have been asking for "mama". Then desperately try to get Halley to say it again. hee hee.
Also I'd be sorely let down if we never see Wil as Proton and Sheldon failing to deal with it.

Nice episode, I love babysitter Penny vs friend Penny, never mess up with the girl!
Proton all sarcastic with Sheldon was excellent, I loved it

edit: It's interesting that they brought up the subject of a vasectomy, for a married couple who don't want kids anymore it's certainly the best contraception IMO.

Really enjoyed tonight's episode! I was kinda waiting for a baby-sitting fail from Penny, so I was pleasantly surprised when there wasn't one. (Not that I'd expect Penny to do badly, but in terms of finding comedy I thought that's where the writers would go.)

Fun fact: Johnny will be on a science show this season, not as Pr Proton for say because he's with scientists, but I think it's the same kind of show. ;-)

I enjoyed the episode. I liked the Howardette storyline the most, the other plot was ok.

P.S. I knew Sheldon wouldn't be a big fan of Dr. Who played by a woman
