It was a good episode, reminded me a lot The Pants Alternative but it was good.
I was surprised that we had so few dance scenes. Now I just hope they filmed some extra scenes with the whole gang dancing as a bonus for the next dvd. I thought about that because at the taping Mark Sweet talked about Briana doing the choreography of the flashmob, completely out of context (not even after the showed us this episode). It's really improbable but I like the idea


I don't speak Mandarin but I'm used to hear it at work, and for me it didn't sound accurate, but I can be wrong.
tbh, at the end of the song I was wainting for Sheldon to say something like "you just made that up, right?" with a playful shrug from Amy.

Anyway, they didn't wait long to sing Soft Kitty again

Yeah, they were doing some pretty basic line dance moves in the episode so I was kinda like "I like it but they really needed Bri to do that?"

ok her "schnurrt" sounded quite amusing to our ears too. We spell the "u" more like "oo" (like in "cool")

Loved the episode. Felt like an old episode from season three. I'm a little bummed we got to see so little dancing. From all the pictures and videos we got before it looked like it's going to be more than just two or three seconds.

I don't remember for Bill Nye, but Bri was the first one to speak about it. And she took a week off her actual show to do it, it was a pretty big deal for her (or she just likes a lot to work for tbbt, which is totally understandable )

And now I wonder if the writers choose the German on purpose

Oh it was "schnurrt"? I didn't understand her because it was mispronounced pretty badly . It's supposed to be more like 'shnoort" (and no, this is not because of the yiddish accent). The beginning was pretty great though.

I would have loved to hear the "Katzentanzlied" butI think it would have been easy to recognize that it s a different song altogether. I wouldn't be surprised if they make her sing the original soft kitty at this point in the German dubbing. So Mayim's voiceover would be singing the Katzentanzlied, then Soft Kitty and then maybe Mandarin.
