...that wouldn't quite be the ideal situation though. I feel bad for Stuart, he's just the guy people go to when they need to replace someone (Leonard, Sheldon, Howard). And while I guess that's part of the joke (although until this season it was more incidential and less of an actual, planned out joke), I feel like it would be better for Stuart's character if we still see Raj hanging out with him a lot.

We already are seeing them hang out, and they do reference other off screen hang-outs. I'm sure he won't be completely ignoring Stuart...if so, it's going to be a completely repeated slightly.

If Lucy sticks around for a while, it'll be interesting to see how it affects Stuart. I'm assuming he's still living with Raj since we haven't been told otherwise, so it could be a potential storyline at some point depending on how things go. It would be kinda disappointing if Raj just forgot about Stuart since Raj was depressed about Howard sort of forgetting about him when he first started dating Bernadette. I've noticed that (especially in 6.13) Stuart seems to be more confident and at east, more like he was when he first showed up in season two, and I feel like it has a lot to do with his new friendship with Raj, so I hope that doesn't all just go away now that Lucy's in the picture.

So, do we think Stuart is still living with Raj? Looking back, I think it was only ever mentioned the one time in 6.04 and then I don't think it was ever referenced again. I know Raj said it was only until Stuart got back on his feet, but I can't imagine he'd be doing that much better than before - I guess it's possible the parties Raj helped Stuart throw helped with business, but I don't think it'd cause that drastic of a change in Stuart's economic status. And was the last time we saw Stuart 6.17, right after Lucy showed up?

I don't think they've given much thought to poor Stuart since Lucy showed up. I don't think they'd have him disappear completely, but whenever he shows up again, I do hope they make him a little like his earlier season self when he wasn't so depressed all the time.
