And yeah, it's all a matter of practice. I've reviewed my notes probably dozens of times now and I think it'll be okay. It's just ALWAYS the anxiety before presentations that make it seem scary and a bigger deal than it actually is >.<

I was a competitive public speaker and I don't even really have any advice. Just that the cliche "just picture them naked" thing never worked for me. Focus on keeping your voice steady (as opposed to rushing), make sure you're projecting your voice, and if eye contact is intimidating for you, look at someone's chin or forehead instead.

I looked through the schedule last night, and there's a handful on panels that look interesting, but a lot of them conflict with SHIELD and Big Bang. So other than those, I'll probably just wander the exhibit hall. I'm hoping to find a nice Captain Marvel print in Artist Alley.

I had a good time - caught my two panels, and then spent a bit of time wandering around in the exhibit floor. And I bought a couple of art prints, even though I already have a ton of prints and posters that are stored away because I need to get frames for them...

So I worked Friday night, then wasn't able to get to sleep at all Saturday, then worked Saturday night. I had a bridal shower to go to Sunday, but I didn't make it there because I hadn't been sleeping and didn't trust myself to drive the hour (one way) to get there. The bride and groom live out of state but I'll be in their state two or three times this month so we're going to arrange to get dinner so we can catch up and I can give them their gifts.

I did manage to get some sleep today, and now I'm at work again overnight - I picked up the shift from a coworker and of course tonight is the night our fire panel malfunctions and we have to have the fire department here at 1am.

I'm just going to get you frames for your birthday.
