happy almost weekend

So much heavy news the past two days. Another shooting. Students from Pepperdine, my alma mater, were there, and a freshman girl was among those killed. A lot of my friends frequented that bar back when we were students.

And today the fires in the same area, Malibu and other cities in flames. I'm far away and personally safe, but my heart's breaking for those communities.

Had fun last night seeing the new Fantastic Beasts! It's not officially released here until Friday, but lots of theaters were doing early showings.

I still have lots of questions/concerns, but one of my biggest takeaways is I'm shipping Newt/Tina even more than before.

So told my dad I was taking him out to eat for his birthday today. He flat out told me he would rather stay home and wait to see if his brothers were going to call him (he talks to them regularly and it's not like we were going to be out for four hours, in the past if they've called on his birthday and he's been busy he goes "oh they'll call back.)

And that kinda really hurt my feelings and also makes me feel super awkward because I now have no gift for him.

I just saw it today!

I got spoiled for some stuff but some events definitely caught me by surprise I'm also unsure about lots of things, but one thing I do know is that I am now a Leta Lestrange stan

Some twists I saw coming, caused they'd come up in theories, but the very end definitely threw me for a loop. And I wasn't expecting to like Leta as much as I did! She was great.

I was gonna say happy Thanksgiving but I hate Thanksgiving and can't come up with fake enthusiasm about it. But for real, hope everyone celebrating today had a good day. I did have a pretty good one myself, my little sister and her fiance came over and we watched Friends.
