I was on Madeira about 15 years ago, it's a beautiful island; I enjoyed it a lot. And they have very nice walking trails (along the Levada water aqueducts)

It is - which is why she came out into the waiting room to talk to me while her assistant prepped the exam room and then afterward she came out to reception with me to keep talking.

So I haven't been feeling well since Wednesday, but I thought I was just tired from being alone all week and therefore all the work at home is on me - the garden, the horse and dog, the flowers, etc. But tonight I can't keep anything down and I'm shaky and have like zero temperature control whatsoever and ugh. My boss already told me at work today that I could stay home tomorrow if I needed to (since she could tell I wasn't feeling so hot), but I really hate missing work. But I also feel like absolute crap and it's actually pretty tempting.

It's better to miss one day and fell better then than go to work sick and be unproductive for few days. You should rest, take care of yourself

Yeah - plus my job involves contact with food, so it's not really good to go in there when you're sick like I am. I told my boss last night that I was throwing up and she told me to stay home today.
