I just booked tickets for a play with an actress from a show I loved to watch about 20 years ago

But I just checked, Glynis Barber once played in the Scy-Fy show Blake’s 7, which they are planning to renew too

I was a big fan of Dempsey & Makepeace about 20-25 years ago. Both actors fell in love during that show and married afterwards. When I was in London 2 years ago, I went to a play with her husband Michael Brandon (who plays Elliot Salad in "Episodes" right now), so I somehow came full circle with that show

Speaking of theater, today marks seven years since I saw my favorite Elphaba's (Kerry Ellis) "final" performance in Wicked! Still one of my best theater experiences ever.

(In quotation marks because it was her last performance at the time, but later she returned to the show for a brief while.)

For any Hamilton fans who think they can swing a trip to Washington easier than New York, Hamilton is coming to the Kennedy Center for the 2017 - 2018 season.

But before you start celebrating - Tickets to the Kennedy Center can be harder to get then Broadway, and it appears they are going to make it worse. The majority of tickets go to subscription holders, and the Center is using this show to draw in even more subscription holders for that season. Even after they figure out how many single-sale tickets are left, they are likely going to be wicked pricey.

Also, there's no word yet if Lin-Manuel Miranda will be part of the touring company.

Other local news sources have reported that the show will probably open here sometime in September 2017. So at least if you are thinking of going, you have time to save your pennies.
