Aw, can't wait for the panda pictures!
I remember a few years ago there were triplet goats at work...which isn't super uncommon, but the one was really tiny and weak. I spent three nights at work sleeping outside of his pen to make sure to feed him every few hours - I had to milk his mother and feed him because she wouldn't stand for him, and his brother and sister didn't let him sleep by them so he ended up curled up in my jacket for warmth. After three days, he got stronger and could walk around, his siblings let him sleep with them and his mother started caring for him, but after all that, we found out he had an underdeveloped digestive tract and wouldn't ever get any stronger than he was, so we had to put him down. That was a really rough day since I'd been with him round the clock since he was born and I was really feeling good about pulling him through...then all of a sudden all the work and time I put in (plus I got attached to him) didn't matter. __________________

Yeah, I know, but they were going to put him down a few hours after he was born, and I said no, give him to me, I'd get him going. He did have a couple happy days, but I can't help but think it would have been better to just euthanize him that first day.

I saw it twice! It was so well done, excellent concept and executed perfectly. It's Oscar material I'm sure. And this from someone who has a 4 year Psych degree and years of experience watching animated films.
