Well, I hope you'll at least pop in and let us know what you think?

Dress like you would for the job. Smile. Don't be breaking eye contact to look down/around the room. And research the place so when they ask "do you have any questions," HAVE a question to ask, one that proves you know a little bit about the place.

^ one of the most common mistakes people make is going into an interview not knowing anything about the company they are interviewing with. It's not only ok to ask questions - it's a big plus. No one expects you to know everything coming in, but if you know enough to ask informed questions, that demonstrates real interest.

Also think of how you will answer some of the common personality questions, like "What are your strengths and your weaknesses?" It's a good idea when you talk about your weaknesses to say something that indicates that you recognize the weakness and to say something about how you are working to improve yourself.

Got it Thank you Heidi.

How long does an interview usually last?

Well done and good luck!!

How long it lasts will depend on the job/company. Sorry, don't have much advice to add to what's already been said. Just be confident and not afraid to sell yourself - that was always my problem.

yes but don't ask a question you could easily find on the internet and don't ask how many vacation days you will get

Deep breath. I'll try my best Vicky I might need a hot beverage before and after my interview though Thankfully there's a Tim Hortons right next to the store

Some interviews are ten minutes, others can be over a half hour. It just depends. As has been said, do NOT be afraid to make yourself sound good. Don't lie - if you've never driven a stick shift, if you don't know how to use a program, etc, don't say you do, don't make up experience you don't have, but the stuff you do know, if you're good at it, make sure they know.

I'm awful at lying so I wouldn't dare do that. My biggest fears are that I will sound too repetitive or stumble over my words as I often do.
