I've never seen an episode and I'm upset and angry.

Me too. I was watching it in the beginning but I somewhere stopped during the last years. There was always too much drama and crappy plots, but the episode yesterday beats everything. They kill their number one couple just like that? Don't they care about their fans at all? Don't they deserve an better ending? Sometimes I don''t know what's going on in the heads of the people in this industry, do they live in another world?

And what really makes no sense about it is that the actor's contract still has a full year to go. You can sort of get why they would do something like this if the actor is itching to leave and just refuses to negotiate a new contract or if they decide the actor wants too much money. But since the guy's contract has another year on it - they're stuck paying him. Of course, they may film an entire season of flashbacks or ghostly appearances next season, who knows?

Exactly. I mean, the guy did want out, but...he still is in contract.

Well, if he wanted out bad enough they probably figured if they tried to force him to stick out his contract, he would just do a crappy job and so it's better to let him go. But there are better ways to get rid of a character other than killing him off. He's a doctor, for goodness sake. ER sent Dr. Ross (George Clooney) to the Pacific Northwest, completely destroying the Doug/Carol ship - but we got a happy ending for them in the end. And then they sent Dr. Carter off to Africa, busting up his relationship with Nurse Abby. Even the X-Files made Mulder's disappearance mysterious, so they could bring him back alive.

And on Grey's the "one of the main cast dies" is so uninspired by now. Is there any doc who left the show alive? In this show are more fatalities than in any other cop show?

I've never seen an episode of Grey's, but I can't imagine how terrible it'd be to half half of your ten year old ship just killed off.
