I love the whole family. I thought Penny's brother was an interesting contrast to the picture painted of him over the years. He seems too sweet and disarming to be a hardened criminal. I also love Katey Segal as Penny's mom. She played it like a woman who is just at a loss to deal with the craziness of her family, and I thought that was a good way to portray her - especially since Penny sometimes comes off the same way in dealing with Sheldon and the others - like she just wants to throw up her hands and give up.

I do think dealing with her family - and especially her brother - has given Penny the ability to deal with pretty much anything and everything in the way of odd behavior - so it certainly explains why she's dealt with the guys so well - and even married one of them.

But I still love Wyatt the best.

I do wish we'd gotten at least a mention of her sister, if only to give an explanation for why she wasn't there.

Yeah same. I mean, her sister is the first member of the family she ever mentioned on the show, and we've heard a bit about the nephew.
