So I caught up with the videos and some Grok Nation articles.

Thought she was great on Yidlife Crisis.

Oh I loved the Yidlife Crisis episode. It kind of made me wish for a sequel. It just showed what a great actress Mayim truly is.

Maybe it is just me, but thus far I don't think she was given many opportunities to display her full talent on season 9. I'm kind of afraid that this might cost her the Emmy nomination this year. Any ideas what scenes she handed in for consideration? I think the deadline was 2-3 weeks ago.

Yes there isn't much material yet, but she could submit "Opening night" ("YOU SHUT YOUR DAMN MOUTH!!) or Meemaw Materialization.

I still hope there are still some great Amy monologues to come.

Mayim doesn't need a ton of material to get an Emmy nomination I think that all of her nominations thus far have been from one-scene wonders anyway, like with the tiara scene and the "Please pass the butter!" scene.

I also hope that she submits 9.11 this year If she does then I think it might be her best submission yet because she really shows several sides of Amy there. I feel that could have a real shot at winning this time!

Yes, but as much as I enjoyed watching 9.11, I don't think the dialogues were as strong as the two scenes you just mentioned. But thankfully there are still quite some episodes left to air.

Completely agree. I think that was a standout episode for her comedically and emotionally.
I know she also said people previously suggested she submit the Platonic Permutation, 9.09.

But yes, 9.09 was also a really good episode for her That final scene showed off her dramatic chops

Apparently I'm the odd one out. I very much prefer her performance in 9.09. While in regards to Shamy 9.11 really rocks my boat I don't think the Shamy scenes show enough "comedy" for this particular Emmy category and "lets get me waxed" is only a one-liner.

But lets just agree to disagree. Either way, Mayim's a great actress and I do hope she gets her fifth nomination no matter which episode she puts up for consideration.

Her winning a Critic's Choice Award showed that she can beat Allison Janney!
