Hello all!

I will be merging this thread into the post count thread after a few hours or a day, just wanted to make sure everyone sees it.

So we've been close to that 500/day mark before but never quite hit it. With May coming up, we've got sweeps, Newhart, Wil Wheaton, the finale, and with that Sweeps Scorecard chock full of I love yous, proposals, pregnancies, firings, weddings, sex, and other things (someone blows up their workplace! *shifty eyes at Bernie*), our show has to be on that scorecard at least once - right?

So my question is - do we think we can all be around enough in May to hit that 500/day? Can we commit to it? Can we start and end it with a big bang? Or are we all very busy people in May, and we should just post along at our own pace and reach for the milestone another time?

Incidentally - something has certainly stimulated things today. Our count so far today - about 11 hours - is 246. That's a tie with last week's episode day 24 hour count.

Yes definitely...the fan art thread is a great place to get the word out...I've gotten amazing stuff when I did.

The header on The Bazinga Cast is one of those items as well all the 150 K art for the upcoming celebration on the Fringe board.

Whoo hoo!

Okay guys, if we are doing this, we've gotta really commit. So some tips:

1. Even if you're busy, come here every day if only to drop by and say "so busy today!" in the OT thread, or to post in some of the game threads.
2. If you CAN be here a lot, post in a lot of threads (example: me yesterday ). To keep track of how many you've done, pick a shipper thread, Shamy or Lenny. Post in it. Then force it to the second page. It's a shipper thread, it will get brought back to the top, no worries about it getting buried. Now, don't just post or as your post - that's not contributing to discussion. But a lot of the time posting ANYTHING will get others to!

I just brought the Tips for Helping the Post Count thread back to page 1. Maybe you can top it - at least when we get closer to May 1.

Posting in a lot of threads is a great idea - and especially the game threads since you don't have to think of something pithy to say. And don't be afraid to hold a back-and-forth with one other poster for a while in say, the ABCs thread. I know sometimes I'm reluctant to do that because I want to give other posters the chance to play the game. But if you're here, and you can pop onto one of those every couple of minutes, who cares if you're just going back and forth with one other person for awhile - it's great for the count.

More Tips -

• Encourage discussion by posing a question about what you might like to see happen. Not only is it good for the post count when people answer and give their own ideas, but it's a lot of fun, too.
• Post a screencap and ask people to caption the scene, or guess the episode or something like that. .
• Invent games that are appropriate to your favorite thread.
