I like that I'm going into the episode even less spoilt than usual. I have only the episode description to go by and I'm ok with the premise so far. Let's hope it's going to be funny

I have a very good feeling about this episode. Based on the promo it's going to have a focus on Leonard and Sheldon, even if the relationship is strained, and there's going to be at least one Sheldon/Penny scene, looks a lot like the Codpiece Topology, and it looks like a group ep and I didn't hear of anyone else being in it besides the five...so I'm looking forward to it!

I really loved this ep, the “no, let’s see where he’s going with this” conversations were hilarious! and we got another Penny-Is-Shelly’s-Mom moment. AWWW! Though this time Leonard and Howard and Raj were Sheldon’s friends and not father/friends, but still, I love any variation of them acting as Sheldon’s parents. That family is so cute.
Penny can TOTALLY manipulate Sheldon now, about to the level of his mother. I love it. So freaking much.
A solid group episode. I’d say still above par for season four, maybe falls below some of the episodes in the first three seasons, but for this one, it was really good. I even think it could hold it’s own against the episodes of the first three years.
So I’d give it an A-. Not the greatest ep I’ve ever seen, but far from the worst. Far. I now say TBBT has hit six of twelve this year.

So my boyfriend and a couple of our friends are trying to design a phone app right now so this episode had a thumbs up from me right off the bat lol I thought this ep really delivered though! Definitely above their S4 average at any rate. Lots of great quotes, Sheldon was hilariously obnoxious without going overboard, Penny was utilized brilliantly, and Raj both amused and disturbed me I'm going to need to rewatch in order to properly quote my favorite parts. (And I actually want to rewatch! 3rd time this season! )

Agreed! I thought this ep was equaled S2 and 3's averages as far as quality goes. Very solid! Obviously the New Year's ep wasn't a fluke this season. I hope it stays this strong all the way through to May!

BTW: Penny and Sheldon actually could make some money from that app. Far more than the guys would make off of their app at any rate.

Glad to hear you guys liked the episode! Whenever I really like one at a taping, I get anxious when it airs to see what everyone else thinks, haha.

My only complaint is it feels like we should have heard about Sheldon's bus pants before or at least Leonard shouldn't have been surprised by them. But that is seriously my only complaint and it's a nitpicky one at that Great episode!

Random note about the episode - Jim actually learned how to play the theremin! On the night of the taping, they told us that until 5 days earlier, he'd never touched one.

Hahaha that's awesome! I've never heard of them until the ep. Sounds like a really annoying instrument unless you are like REALLY good at it

But that might apply to all instruments o_O
