And in their pseudo family dynamic, isn't it so typical of "the parents" to make "the child's" favourite breakfast to make them feel better, and then the child ends up brushing it off and not eating it for whatever reason.

Leonard and Penny already know they're going to make good parents from all their practice with Sheldon. Some couples practise with a pet first, others with a Sheldon.

I'm beginning to wonder what they'll do without him when they eventually move out.

That's so true

they learn patience and compromise with him. They're going to be such good parents

I'm sure they'll be happy to share alone time without a Sheldon or a baby before growing a family

Do you think Penny and Leonard already told their friends about the ring? During the last episode I got the impression they still don't know. I would appriciate that, I don't like the idea, that the whole group minus Amy knows about it. I don't want, that someone of them would blab and she doesn't hear it from Sheldon first.

So far it seems like they haven't mentioned it to anyone else. Probably out of deference to both Sheldon and Amy's feelings, since it wouldn't be fair to tell Amy and create guilt or pressure there, nor would it be fair to reveal this secret of Sheldon's (seems Wil and Nimoy will probably do that
