well i saw it!

Spoiler:
um naked scene from behind at the beginning made me and and .then they pulled out to like outside the apartment and you could he was naked but it was too far away for much else...i was like "Zoom in! Zoom in!" He was great in the film, the sex was hot he made the films dialogue better just by his voice...seriously hot with the tatts too ...film wasnt as bad as i thought it would be... i have low expectations for our usually crappy nz films He is probably the only reason it was better than usaul ones though!

so any questions?

Insanitic, how scary is it? I wasn't going to watch it but I've been checking out the special and I'm intrigued. If it isn't too scary I might check it out this weekend (and Eagle vs. Shark because Taika Waititi is awesome). I think the quality of NZ films is getting better and this is the director's first feature so I think it looks quite promising.

They just showed Jason Behr dressed in a traditional Samoan dance costume - that is something I never thought I'd ever see! I have to say I initially didn't want to watch the film because I was a bit scared about the way my culture (I'm half Samoan) was going to be portrayed but I don't think it looks too bad and it seems like they're quite respectful of the traditions, that's refreshing to see for a change!

Insanitic

Spoiler:
so they make you see that scene from the beginning. That's clever because this way we will not understand the whole movie after the scene lol

Okay, I might give it a go then! Thanks.

In My father's Den is one of my favourite movies, I'm majoring in film at Auckand Uni and the director Brad McGann gave a lecture on it a few years ago - it's really sad though because he passed away earlier this year.

That special was pretty cool, it'd be really neat if you could upload it for the international JB fans - it's pretty funny that for once us Kiwi's have something to share though isn't it?

Im doing Media Studies at Massey!

it is really sad about Brad! he had soo much talent as Director and writer!

thats lucky that you got a lecture by him

one of the films we focused on this year in one of my papers was IMFD!

though i had already seen it when it came out i really was able to appreciate it more the 2nd time around!

Do go see the Tattooist! its worth it just for Jason!

Kind of luke-warm, but not bad. Sounds like an interesting movie to me.

LOL, awesome!

It was pretty cool, it was the kind of experience that really made we want to become a film maker even more than I ever did before. I ushered the NZ Film and TV awards when he won too so it was great seeing him win that, it was well deserved. I went on exchange to Canada and one of my friends sent me the DVD - I got my room mates to watch it and they though it was an awesome film too, lol.

To be honest I've never been much of Jason Behr fan (I know, I know that's sacrilege on here) but I'm definitely starting to see the appeal now!
