Plot Summary: Two packs of werewolves, divided by principles are signaled by the moon of the coming of an ancient prophecy. A small boy named Timothy (Matthew Knight) approaches his 13th birthday, unaware this marks the time of his transformation. Timothy has been raised by his mother Rachel (Rhona Mitra), his grandmother (Barbara Gordon), his Uncle Jonas (Elias Koteas), his cousin Katherine (Sarah Carter) and her boyfriend, Adam (Shawn Roberts). Rachel and her son Timothy have been unaware that the rest of the family are good werewolves that have guarded Timothy since birth. They know that Timothy is a half blood, and will control the destiny of the family. But they also know that Timothy's power will put him in danger, for there are other werewolves that revel and embrace their blood-lust that are prepared to kill to preserve their way of life. These werewolves, led by Varek (Jason Behr), Zo (Kim Coates) and Sonya (Natassia Malthe), are hell bent on finding Timothy...their kin.

Punkrocker You're in Atlanta and not happy with your conventions? At least you're in the same continent. I'm stuck in Australia, and our big Comic Convention in October has only got a bunch of cartoon artists and ... the guy who plays Percy Weasley in the Harry Potter films. Fingers crossed that they increase the invitees soon.

And my local cinema has no idea when the film will screen here....

I just saw a 'Skinwalker' commercial last night and they are saying "Opening this weekend" and showing the 7/27/07 date. Exciting to see it and disappointing at the same time, that it's not opening Friday.

Maggie's video won't play for me. Not sure what I'm doing wrong.

No, it's August 10th. The producer Don Carmody e-mailed NightSlash and I back. And let me tell you, he's pissed about how the movie's been handled, but unfortunately, he can't do anything about it. I feel sorry for the poor guy - up until now, he's always been polite and talking like everything was fine, but I guess this last incident really got to him. He did say there should be no more delays, The Simpsons movie was the cause for this recent one.

Disappointing for the Behrians, they finally added two wallpapers to the Downloads section of the Skinwalkers site, they're both Natassia... Not fair to us that they didn't add a Jason/Varek wallpaper!

What do they give us? One tiny, little icon for AIM or MSN.

So unfair! And so stupid on their part - are they trying to alienate the women who want to see this film??? grrrrrrrrr...

Not that they've really impressed me yet with their promotion for this film. It all seems so last minute and slipshod. It's really too bad Lionsgate washed their hands of this movie - they should have been the ones releasing it and promoting it.

Interestingly, they used the pic from the movie poster but instead of the saliva, they used the one with the blood.

Well there's only two wallpapers up and two icons, so chances are they might put up a few more in the next couple of days. Guess we'll see though.

And seeing as how I'm a guy, I'll happily take the Natassia Wallpapers.

I do like the shot of Jonas and Varek fighting, looks badass. Though with the way they're in the air, Varek's hair almost looks like it has dreadlocks like Grenier's, lol.

I knew YOU would like the posters, but that isn't my beef. My beef is, where's the BEEF?

They can put up 50 pics of Natassia, but they have to give us equal attention.

I'll gladly take 50 pics of Jason.

And you're right about the pic of the fighting wolves, looks a little like punked-out Varek with a mohawk or something.

Being a fan of Natassia's, and liking Sonja's character so far, I'm not too mad about the wallpapers. I didn't think we would get too many wallpapers, though the lack of IM avatars does surprise me, so NightSlash probably is right - there probably will be more closer to the movie coming out. I should hope so anyway, I don't like either of those things.

The background is wicked cool. Now if we could just get better IM icons, maybe more wallpapers, and a nifty screensaver. That's all I'm asking for from that section.

Yeah, they also added a tiny bit of cast/crew information on the Film page. For ages we had no website, so I'm glad there's at least a little stuff, but still....

Yeah, I do wish we had more. But I'm so grateful for the gallery there. It's so nice to see so many new pictures. The cast/crew info and downloads do have a chance of being updated with more, considering the tiny bit there is - and the tacky fact that at least one wallpaper has the July 27th date on it - but we at least have a lot of pictures there and at other sites to look at.

AfterDark really needs to learn to do better promotion and get all their advertising/promotional work in synch and organized. The commercials with the old date are bugging the crap out of me and that's bound to cause confusion.
