But I'm really nervous to see The Devil Wears Prada because it's one of my favorite books and I don't like who they cast to play the roles. They even changed one of the characters names for no apparent reason.
But I think in the case of Senseless, it will help in watching just because you will already know what will happen to him. But if you don't want to be spoiled then definitely don't, because what I saw of the trailer seems pretty much exact to the book. It's such a short book they probably didn't cut much out either.
yeah... still not sure if i'll read it or not... everyone's input is great.

sidenote: i'm so torn on the devil wears prada too! not too crazy about some of the casting either... i was so glad that they decided not to turn one of my favorite books Confessions of a shopaholic into a movie for fear of that happening!

Thanks for the new thread, Crystal! It's so fun to be whizzing along on the JB board today with so many great friends here too! That's a perfect way to spend a birthday, I must say! Thanks for sharing my day with me, everyone!

Crystal, could you please put a little "caps by LTF" with the caps... Thanks.

Yeah, EffEll - those were the days I've been chatting some with Penny - we really need to encourage her to get her brainy buns back here!

Me too, Danielle I'm really glad you're back "Among Us" If you decide to start writing little fics again- I'll be happy to read them....

And Penny keeps telling me she wants to post but I think it's a bit intimidating to try to do a big shout-out post - I told her to forget about that and just jump in again with both feet!

Oh please do - on both counts - it'll be great to have you here regularly. I saw your post the other day about watching the marathon - I watched too - it's just so special to watch the show with the proper music - I really do think that's why I just can't get into my DVDs so much - they look beautiful but there's magic in the music.

That music in the Senseless trailer at the beginning was so ominous. At first I couldn't see the trailer - only hear it - but I didn't want to hear it only, so I had to tinker with my Media Player - it still wouldn't work so then I watched it with a different player - but it only played the video and no sound - watching without sound was still just as scary. So then I finally opened my Power DVD player and it played both sound and pictures - that's where I capped it. I'm still not sure which was worse - watching with no sound or with the sound - it's so gruesome. I have to say, if not for Jason I wouldn't be interested in seeing this film...

I see the posting frenzy has died down now - it was sure fun while it lasted - there must have been something magical in the last thread.

Ditto. The music was the first thing that gave me chills.

As soon as I heard the music in the trailer I knew it'd be intense...

and yes, I hardly watch my dvds due to the different music, some scenes don't have the same feel without it!

Oh good, Crystal is still around... I don't know if that's music for the film or the film companies since it seemed to be there with their logos... It was also eerily familiar.
