| We went to see 'Angels & Demons' - it's your basic 'race against the clock before bad things happen' movie. Tom Hanks seems a little old for all that running around, but at least his haircut was less ugly this time! It was pretty much nonstop action, and all the stuff in Rome was cool. Made Mr ML want to see Rome! (too bad he doesn't fly). I can see why the Vatican was unhappy with this made up story about them, but I don't think it showed the church in a bad light.  I didn't know Ewan McGregor costarred in it - he's always good.Lucky Rob P is in Italy filming 'New Moon' now. Hope he gets to look around a bit, but I guess he's on a really tight schedule. There was a fountain in a piazza in 'A & D' and of course I thought of New Moon.  __________________ Jason B is #1 with me "I'm with the vampires" | |||

| I don't know if I'd go so far as to say 'good' but it's enjoyable while you watch it and it passes the time but then - pfft - it's out of your head immediately! The whole thing is just so wildly improbable. I looked up Montepulciano today - I was curious what the name meant - That town (or earlier version of it) has been there since 3 or 4 BC! | Crystal Go with Star Trek. I went to the midnight showing of Angels and Demons, it was a disappointment for me. Parts were cut off, I thought would have been beneficial to give it a little more feelings to this film and I thought it needed the reporters to give it some sense of humor. | We didn't read the book before the movie, unlike with the 'DaVinci Code' where we knew everything that was going to happen (and liked it better in the book), so the movie was a complete surprise to us/took it at face value but... meh! | Aw, love those pix of Rob in the blue shirt in Italy! It's exciting that they are almost done filming 'New Moon' already -that seemed really really quick! I don't know how they can keep the faux fountain they are building, as I assume they aren't actually going to hook up plumbing/water supply for it.
