Aww, thanks! I'm trying to get in for the fall semester as my school has a rolling admission. But it's a long shot. If it's too late, January is my best bet.

And you should! I actually miss writing and taking notes. A true geek.

BB Slow, I thougt so too but it gets better, especially the ending and the way the writer describes when Edward kisses or touches her OMG. I feel like I'm 17 all over again.

The movie looks wonderful, I can't wait. I just started reading the second book, yesterday.

Ooch I'm hurting, I played in my hubby's softball team yesterday because they needed a third girl and as they day goes by I'm getting sore.

but hit 2 for 2 so that was fun

Stretching Di, do some gentle stretching and go for a walk. I'm up to page 380 of Twilight, and yes, I'm looking forward to reading more books in the series. I may have to inspect Ebay for them though, as they are $25.00 each here.

I'm not too fond of ebay though, as so many of the things I want to buy are located in the US, and at least 90% of US based sellers refuse to ship to Australia. Don't they know you've only got to fill in 2 tiny forms at the post office? Luckily, my best friend lives in TX and I can have things shipped to her, but I still have to contact the seller to see if that is acceptable before bidding. Pout!

Americans are amazingly parochial and anything having to do with foreign countries seems huge and insurmountable! Although I have to admit, when I look at stuff on Ebay and see it is a UK seller and they are charnging pounds instead of dollars, I get scared off. You can get very good deals from Amazon.

I just got the last book in the Twilight series (the one we can't talk about, according to the FF PTB - so nobody gets spoiled). I'm trying to hold myself back, but I read about 150 pages of it last night! They sold 1.3 million copies in 24 hrs, the day it came out!

There is a bit of a Roswell vibe to the story - I think Roswell fans would enjoy those books.

I'm still sore and when I took my daughter to Summer camp this morning they asked me if I'm going to continue to play, ouch. I love the game but I'm afraid I'll get hit by the ball like I did when I used to play.

Thanks Di! The thought counts for heaps. I've got my eye on one on ebay, just waiting to hear from the seller if they will ship to behrbutterfly in TX rather than me in Oz if I win. I've just bid on a different book because the seller will do that. If I'm lucky enough to win it will be a $12.00 saving there.

ML I've looked into Amazon before, and when I add the purchase price to their shipping costs, then convert from US dollars to Aussie dollars, there are sometimes no savings to be made. And the worst thing about Amazon, you have to be registered there before you can even try to figure out the pricing structure these days.
