Oi vey! Merciful heaven this has been the weekend from hell.ifax LOL My mum turned 80 today, so of course we had all sorts of big things planned. Yesterday we had a small afternoon tea for her at my dad's nursing home, with some very close friends, and today a bigger lunch with a lot more friends. I'm in the middle of work on Friday, planning all the cooking etc for this extravaganza, and I get a phone call. Hubby has to take daughter to the Dr. She's rolling around on the floor in pain. The Dr sends her to a specialist, who sends her for testing, and they whip out her appendix on Friday night............

Podmom do you have a pic of Snoopy screaming 'waaaauuugggghhh'? Cos that's how I felt by the end of today. Completely wrung out. I didn't know what to do first. Do I stay in the hospital with the girl or go home and prep the party? Couldn't call it off - there were relatives travelling long distances with accommodation booked, there was food ordered etc! You know the dilemma. However we got through. Girl is home from hospital now, parties are all over, all that remains is to catch up on the chores I had to let slide while I concentrated on the drama.

BB Happy B-day to your mom, 80 wow. Sorry to hear about your daughter, that's so scarry. Hope she feels better. By the way through all your delama, you probably didn't get my message I posted earlier during the week. I'll be at Comic Con on Fri, Sat, and Sun-not Thu.-I guess I was giving myself another day off, subconsiounsly of course

Thank you Di, Crystaline and Jen Madame is home now, and trying (unsuccessfully) to milk for more sympathy. Pity I was there when the Doctor said that the best thing to do, post-op, was walk about. If it doesn't snow tomorrow she'll be taking herself around the block three times!

Di yes I did get your message. Thank you. now that things have calmed down, (I didn't get online at all for 4 days over the weekend) I'm going to investigate the Comic-Con website, and make you a wish list.

I missed you. 10 days without Forum, but I didn’t find an internet point and even though, I’d had some difficulty with the Cyrillic keyboard .

I had a beautiful holiday and saw wonderful things, but what emotion I have in St. Petersburg! It seemed to relive ‘Innocent' by Mockingbird 39.

Do you remember the vision Max had from Sophie? The blue house with columns and statues?

And when Liz and Sophie went to Tsarskcoye Selo and they should wearing paper shoes into the Ballroom?

I’m completely mad, but I turned the city as if Max, Liz and Sophie were there, lived there, took the underground, walked around the streets by the Neva.

But the stranger thing was when, in a shop windows of DVD, I tried to see if there was D-War. A little disappointed, I went over and … see what I saw in the entry of the shop:

The headline says ‘Voina dinosavrov' ‘Dinosaurs War’ (yes, I can read Cyrillic a little - and my knowledge of Russian language stops here!), but I seemed to be at home!
