Crystaline I made my first internet purshace too. I bought Shooting Livien and as Roswell 2000 said anything for Jason. That reminds me I haven't received it yet, got to check on it.

Yeah, Crystaline, I'm a bit wary of how I spend my money. Also, I was considering buying some books online the other day, so I comparison shopped: second hand on ebay vs new in the high street shop. Firstly, you must be a member of a political party. Then you obtain your party's endorsement to stand as a candidate in an electorate at the election. Once elected to the lower house of parliament, you then gain seniority in the house, through holding ministerial portfolios and cabinet secretarial positions. Once you have developed a following/clout/seniority/experience within your party among the sitting members of the house, they in turn may elect you leader of the party. Only then, when your entire party wins a majority at the election, will you as head of the party lead the country. And yes, it is technically possible for the elected leader of the party to lose his seat at the same election as his party wins office (they'd have to have a leadership meeting then).

Did that make sense?

So great to see you on the boards again! I missed you! Hope all is well. I have to see if I am going to Comic Con this year. Money is tight between my friend Scott's wedding in June in South Bend Indiana at the University of Notre Dame being that is where he met his fiance in college. And my family and I going to Scotland in August. I have to see.

Maybe I did go to Comic Con last minute last year being I was working and did have enough for the trip after all. We shall see.

I chiped a tooth once it is not fun! I have to go to the dentist soon as well for a annual check up.

I can't believe that today is Ash Wednsday! Wow has time flies. I guess everyone had a great Mardi Gras!

Well.... I haven't bought anything on the internet but not because I don't trust it.... I just don't have a credit card. I wouldn't go and buy anything online butc it would have been nice to have the possibility. Now my mom is a completely different thing. She won't even consider it.

Oh yea butter'b, the American voting system is definitely complicated. I remember learning about it when I was in High School. It took m a while to figure exactly how everything worked out....

Our voting system is pretty simple too.... but it's not that stable and that great....
We vote for a party and the one who gets the highest number of votes have the one standing at the head of it is being declared as the Prim-Minister. Naturally all of the parties are suppoused to let the public know who stand at the head of it before the elections. It's very simple.

Speaking of internet shopping, I'm the queen! I do most of my shopping online. Clothing, books, makeup and such.

And I am having surgery tomorrow. The back tooth that has been bothering me is getting extracted tomorrow

I'd rather online shoppping as well. I hate going into stores and waiting on long ass lines. It takes the fun out of shopping for me.

Crystaline you must be shopping in the wrong stores. I don't wait if there are queues (unless it's the supermarket). For clothing, books etc, I always shop at local boutiques. There's more variety there than in the chain stores. Leastways I don't see myself in the street.

Veronic Your electoral system sounds just like ours! Leastways I can understand it.

Well because Israel is small there's not much point to divide it to parts and that makes everything much more simple.
