Veronica, sorry the job didn't fit but it was good practice for your interviewing skills. Jen, did you watch The All Nighter? I watched it on TV this week even though I'm sitting here with Carol's DVDs. Sometimes you just have to watch when it's on TV. Podmomma! How are you - I read about your tests and never got to post because of the server issues. I'm so sorry about you having to deal with the dyes and MRIs - I hope all your results are good.  We really need a chance to talk sometime. As for old - you look and act young and my sister and her husband will celebrate 35 years this year and I still feel like she's young - and my other sister will be 60 years young this year too. As for polishing silver - I have a lot of silver plated flatware - I just cleaned it one time - then wrapped it in a towel and put it in ziplock bags - it's the air that causes the tarnish - when I use them I just wash them in ordinary dish water and then dry them and put them back in their bags - it works really well. Hybrid - nice working on different styles but the "I can't" art is pretty pale so it's hard to see - it would make nice stationery though. June, forgot to say "Way to go!" on your walk! One thing I've noticed - the Roswell DVD quality is ten times better on the video side than the DC DVDs. The Dawson eps are really grainy. BTY - how are you liking your art classes? When will we see some fanart coming from you? You should be able to do something for school with Jason in it. Oops - just read your reply to Poddy - it's cool you're learning to make art the traditional way before you get on the computers. I think you get a better sense of composition, shading and color that way. That's all way important before playing with the big toys. I loved all my art classes - considered it for a career but at the time I didn't know if I could be creative on demand so I opted for other things. Still it's been invaluable training for my chosen career. It's important for lighting to understand where light and shadow plays. And the composition and everything I learned in my art classes and art history classes have played into my work. Quote:
