We are just watching movies at home. It’s going to be a very long time before we go back to a movie theater....

I have no idea what is even showing at the cinemas here...! What about all the film’s scheduled for release around the time they closed....?

I think some just went to direct streaming.

I took my kids to see Onward the weekend before everything hit the fan here in the US. The movie had just premiered. Then theaters closed the next weekend, but by April the movie was already on Disney +..

Yeah i think they are moving them to streaming and i think this is the first time ever the awards are adding streaming movies to the categories or something like that?

Yes, I heard that too......it’s a very odd year all around. It will be interesting if the movie industry changes permanently

Just in the last few years more Netflix and Hulu movies were contending with big name studios and the industry was adapting

Yes i know! It's just so bizarre and it's sad because some traditions have to now to be broken.

I just listened to Brendan Fehr’s latest Instagram live and he talked about how movie and tv show productions are affected by Covid and all the precautions that need to be taken. Affecting B+T as well as a few other projects he has filmed or will film

I am so shocked to hear the passing of Chadwick Boseman, the actor that played Black Panther!

I don;t think anyone knew he was battling cancer for 4 years!! We just watched him recently in the movie Da 5 Bloods that was filmed this year! Good movie by the way! Long, but pretty good! I also loved it because a couple of the actors are from The Wire.

May he RIP.

43 only a year older than my hubby. so he was battling it since he was 39 which is only a year older than me. Ugh he was great as the Black Panther.

I’ve never seen that film. I think I’d feel strange watching it now.

So sad. I read a real lesson here is be kind to everyone since you have no idea what someone else is going through. He was battling cancer while filming.

Exactly!!! We really don’t know what people are going through. So all these judgments sometimes are just really heart breaking when you actually realize you judges them before really knowing their life or situation.
