I grabbed my Roswell dvds instead of a Christmas movie so I'm watching season 1 while finishing up. Love the magic of season 1

I just watched the movie 'The Post' with Tom Hanks, Meryl Streep, about 1971, the Pentagon Papers, the Washington Post - freedom of the press. I didn't even know Steven Spielberg made it. Nobody wanted to watch it, because they thought it was 'boring' but I found it absolutely riveting. Plus the feminist angle, of the woman who ran the newspaper after her husband died, and all the men ignored her, talked about her like she wasn't in the room etc, coming into her own.
I'd like to see the new Mary Poppins. I had a friend tell me she'd NEVER SEEN the original of that. I was shocked! __________________

Oh I really want to see that movie MyrnaLynne! When it first came out I went to the cinema but it was so sold out!
I’ve only seen the first Mary Poppins once! It’s always on TV here during Christmas so will need to watch it! Saving Mr Banks too. __________________
